Adonis Creed will apparently go for another round on the silver screen. A Creed III producer has stated that a new installment in the Rocky spin-off series is in the works, with Michael B. Jordan returning as the titular character as well as directing once again.
Deadline reports Creed III producer Irwin Winkler revealed plans for a fourth entry in the franchise at an event in Los Angeles event on Saturday. “We are planning to do Creed 4 right now,” he said. “We have a really good story [and] a really good plot. We got a little delayed because of the strikes, but about a year from now, we’re going into pre-production.”
In addition, Winkler claimed Jordan will helm Creed 4 after “he did such a great job” on Creed III, which was his directorial debut. In other upcoming projects, Jordan has also been attached to I Am Legend 2 alongside Will Smith.
As for the Creed franchise, Creed III had the biggest opening weekend in the US for a sports movie. In addition, the film made over $275 million worldwide, which topped the previous two installments Come from Sports betting site VPbet . The Creed series is unique in the fact that each new movie has made more money than the previous one. Creed earned $174 million worldwide, while the sequel raked in $214 million.
